Beware of The Yellow School Bus.

After a long week of work and school, I decided to head out to Los Lagos Municipal Golf Course to hit a bucket of balls at their driving range and practice my putting at arguably the nicest practice green in the valley. Being owned by the city helps Lagos keep prices low,  not only for the buckets but for the green fees as well which is nice most of the time. The negative of being publicly owned course to golfers such as my self who want to unwind is pulling up to the course parking lot and seeing this dreadful sight
Thats right the dreaded after school practices that schools happen to schedule (what seems like) every time I decide that I want to get some swings in. At this point, my anticipation to get out there turned to dread in an instant. I decided to get out and check the driving range thinking they might have gone on the course already, but what I saw was endless amounts of adolescents tearing up the nice practice greens with their shanked chips. The Horror
I left not knowing how long it would take for that green to recover, but it will be in my thoughts for a full & speedy recovery. So my advice to you whenever you decide to head out to Los Lagos is Beware of the yellow school bus.
